What it is
The handed-down rig was right, so I kept it: it's a Diezel VH4 (@deathblossomaudio) into a Marshall 1960A 4x12 with G12M greenbacks (@romanrecords) ... literally Adam Jones's 10,000 Days-era signal path, no drive pedal in front because the VH4's channel 3 is the whole distortion.
EQ is mid-forward as given (mid +3, a touch of 2k bite, ...2 at 300 Hz so the palm mutes don't turn to cardboard), gate at ...52 dB with an 80 ms release to keep the sustained chords intact, and a small dark room at 10% so the riff isn't bone dry. The 420 ms delay and the slow flanger are parked on footswitches ... the flanger is the Jones signature for the churny bridge/outro section and the delay for the lead swells, both off for the main riff.
